Felthousen's Florist Introduces Enhanced Website Flower Ordering
Albany florist now offers free delivery with Web site orders

ALBANY, NY, November 18, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Felthousen's Florist and Greenhouse is pleased to introduce enhancements to its Web site that will enable visitors to more easily order flowers, plants and gifts from the Web. The enhanced Web site allows visitors to search for floral arrangements by color, price and occasion. The site also features enlargeable "true-to-life" photographs of floral arrangements.

"We're very excited about the Web site enhancements," says Felthousen's Florist owner Mark Felthousen. "Our customers definitely value the ability to buy online. The site improvements allow us to deliver our brand of customer service through our Web site."

The site also assures visitors that they're purchasing flowers from a local florist in Albany. "So many online flower-ordering sites don't have anything to do with the flowers," says Felthousen. "Customers go to a site and think they're purchasing local, when in fact, they're just working with a middleman." That causes problems for both the purchaser and the recipient. "That has a direct, negative impact on the floral arrangement." By purchasing through a local florist, Felthousen says, customers can get better floral arrangements and better customer service.

Mark Felthousen also says that the new format of the Web site allows Felthousen's Florist to offer free delivery for Web site orders. "The pricing on the site includes all costs. We don't add service fees and we don't add delivery fees," says Felthousen. "We're always looking for ways to improve the customer's flower-ordering experience, and we believe the enhanced Web site does just that."
